Whether you need a supermarket for the week, a cinema for the children or a bazaar for souvenirs, Hurghada has a place for it. Here is where visitors and residents usually shop.
Senzo Mall
Senzo Mall on the Village Road is one of the best-known malls in Hurghada. It opened in 2009 and spans around 170,000 square metres. It has international and local brands, a Spinneys supermarket that visitors often say is cheaper than resort shops, a food court with McDonald’s, KFC and Pizza Hut, an indoor children’s amusement park, and regular live music and kids’ events. Opening hours are listed as 10 am to 11 pm. Many visitors allow one and a half to three hours, and use ride-hailing apps for fixed-price rides.
Sakkala high street and the marina souq
Sakkala has the main shopping street of the town centre. At Hurghada Marina, the El Souq area sells clothing, jewellery, souvenirs and handcrafts.
El Dahar bazaars
The old town of El Dahar has bazaars and local markets, where prices are often lower than in the tourist centre.
Everyday shopping near your home
